i was wondering what sort of power i would get if i decated my 1.6 16v?
is there much difference in performance or should i just leave it alone?

also some solid figures would be aswome if it did make a difference

I had a few flames out the XE in really hot weather, had a few pops here and there normally.

seriously??? my car is loud enough as it is, iv got a 4-1 manifold just havent got it decated yet, you reckon its just all hype and noise??

I wouldn't say it is worth it to be honest. More noise, if it it makes a difference it isn't noticeable.

If you want a few more pops then that is all about it will help.

no iv only got the rear one and its a 2.5 inch exit pipe. :/ it feels like my cars not revving fast enough tho, what else can i do?

You could look in to free flowing air filters or maybe a VXPerformance inlet if budget allows. Other than that it will cost you a few quids. They should rev up pretty quick though if its really slow then there is a problem that wants sorting before you mod it further.

Id agree that BHP gains are probably very minimal but throttle response is improved quite noticably and also as Daz said it will smell more of petrol . And obviously the noise is improved , mines pops and crackles with the mani on too
