What do you think, the car is no where near finished, but stage1 is done so far... Next mods include the arches re-done and sprayed same as the rest of the car (the shine has gone, used wrong laquer - doh!)

The car is a 1.0 12v, but that will change all in good time, car was standard when i got it 7 months ago...so doing okay so far.

Spec so far:

Engine: Stainless steel mesh induction kit, custom made centre exit exhaust system.

Suspension: Lowered 50mm on gmax springs

Wheels: 7x17" Team Dynamics K2 alloys with BFG 205.40.17 tyres

Interior: Momo pedal set, momo gearknob, silver window winders, silver bits on dash.

Exterior: Full carzone concepts bodykit, silver mesh (might change for black mesh), e-tech aero rear spoiler mounted onto a sri style spoiler, clear side repeaters, clear rear clusters, headlight brows, chrome beesting, single wiper conversion.

ICE: Pioneer 6400r oel cd head unit, pioneer tsa 13cm component speakers, pioneer tsa 6x9s, pioneer 12" sub 600w, pioneer 1000w 4ch amp.

Future plans: Smooth tailgate, dtm cup mirrors, arches re painted and laquered, black mesh all round to replace silver, rear seats removed, false floor made with carpet and neons etc, bonnet vent (un decided what type as yet), engine work (either conversion or nos - different eh!).

The 2nd pic is of it is when it was dirty, the night time one was after id cleaned it before the exeter cruise last night.

Good looking car.The spoiler isn't bad but i'm not a fan of putting another spoiler on top of the Gsi one.Think the mesh looks good as it is.Don't paint it black.

i actually bought them from a mate. They are some german brand, but the box is at work, so cant say for sure, will find out though. They are the legal ones, as they use standard bulbs and have colour inserts. I think the make begins with L, and they fit easy enough, the drivers side one is hard to undo (standard).

i had neons all round until last weekend when water got to them and blew 3 of them, leaving me with just the one.
Black mesh will be fitted this week probably.

Will be getting the arches and door handles done too soon, and a bonnet vent and badboy is being done next month.

Insurance is on a motortraders policy as i work at my dads garage, so all mods are covered on that policy, its with axa, and im 20.

2.0 16v badge is to scare people away from the mighty power my 1.0 has, its in hope that they wont try to race my singer sowing machine!!! lol

also, loose the clear rears, go for smoked rears and fronts as well. with black mesh, it'd give a cool stealthy look to ur car

also change the colour of ur drums and callipers, red doesnt go withur car all that much

apart from that tho looking good
