Can anyone one tell me what the clearance is lyk of a standard XE 4-2-1 manifold on a corsa is it tucked up nice & close to the sump?

I've to a rusty one welded to my cat, was shaped to sit around the sump nicely. Very cheapie you want it... All surface rust, obvious no holes. Perfect for wrapping!!

Iv got a manifold here mate thanks anyway.just debating to buy some better uprated shocks & use my -80mm front springs for the engines weight or get a set of GAZ coilovers.That's why im wondering how much clearance i will have.

Was wanting a SBD or lexmaul larger bore manfold but there's none for sale anywhere.

Mines about 80mm down at the front atm mark and theres a good few inches of clearance but i have no idea if i have the one i have is tucked up to the sump any differently?

I had a early one and it was a nightmare!! Was 3/4 of a inch from the ground and all it used it do was bottom out. Till one day I got stuck and it ripped it.

Iv now got a bigger bore 421 and it sits up against the sump almost. I'm sure it's the late ones that sit tucked up.

Mines level with my sump Mark,mine is off a 1995 Astra GSi engine iirc.

Will have mine bolted on before it goes in my mate said the same there a right twat to remove/fit once its in the corsa hence the reason why i want a bigger bore one if i can get one in time.

Mine sat nice and tight to the sump, when I bottomed out it was the sump that hit the ground and not the manifold
