Ive had my 200sx for about 3 months now and it is a great car!

Not being funny Steve but it sounds to me like you dont know shit! The car goes well, looks well and handles better than any front wheel drive French tin!

Yeah but there is difference between fact and taste, for example when you are talking about handling.........a car either handles well or it doesnt.

Looks of a vehicle, yes, I know where you are coming from, the 200sx isnt the nicest looking car in the world and the interior is shocking but all Jap cars are the same. I personally didnt want another front wheel drive hot hatch.

MPG isnt too bad..........25-30 on average. Its like any car really, buy a good one and look after it, especially the turbo and you'll be ok. It is Jap so its pretty reliable as long as you tune it wisely.

Ive got a turbo back decatted 3.25" zorst, an HKS adj actuator, dump valve, OBX quick-shift, boost running at 14psi, Walbro fuel pump, iridium plugs and a FMIC (yet to be fitted).

I reckon power at the moment is around 240bhp but with the FMIC, Apex'i boost controller and 550cc injectors it should be up near 300bhp.

Its quite cheap to get 300bhp, its when you are looking for more than that it gets expensive.

Yeah, youll get a minter for £5,000.

Mine was a late 99, S14a ('a' denotes the facelift, 4 pot calipers up front and the different rear lights) full NSH, one owner, 36,000 miles, touring spec (leather, air-con, CD changer, light washers) and it only cost me about £7,500. I think for the cash its a bargain.

I dont know where people have got it that these cars dont handle though? In the wet they are a bit hairy but which RWD car with any power isnt. In the dry it handles spot on, it'll out handle virtually any hot hatch. RWD, limited slip diff and 225 tyres sat on a chassis that is made for it.

Im getting my first service done on Friday, aint got a clue what its gonna cost? Dont think it will be that much. Im providing the air filter, the oil and the iridium plugs myself so that should take a chunk out of it!

Ill let you know how it goes!

12.8.........nice! Ill be happy with anything under 15 I think at the mo.
