This is a massive long shot but I cant find what I need anywhere else on the whole internet.

I'm looking for a 5.0.x version of durametric porsche diagnostic software (like vagcom).

They used to have it available on the website but the oldest version they have now is 5.1.4 which won't work with my cable.

What's the chances?

Serious question; Have you looked on the other "usual sites"?

Looked absolutely everywhere. It's not even dodgy it just has to be before a certain version.

It's not the current versions on the durametric website. I more need someone to actually have the installer, I doubt you'll find it on the web.

Yeah sorry i misread it.

Just looking on Version history on their site this is what it comes up with:

http://www.durametric.com/versionhistory.aspx

The version is mentioned but no link for it. :/ Tried a Porsche forum incase anyone has a 'disc' lying around?

From their Manual

Updating the software
We often release new versions of our software; when we release a new version we make
it available as a Beta version before general release. The latest version of our software
can be downloaded for free from our website at http://www.durametric.com. The current
general release (non-beta) version of our software can be downloaded from the
“download” page and the current Beta version can be downloaded on the ‘Version
History’ page. The “Version history” page also displays a list of all the changes and
improvements made to the software. All software updates are complete, so there is no
need to update to each version, you can simply install the latest version. For example, if
you have version 4.3.0 installed and you want to install 5.0.0 you do not need to install
4.4 first.

Anything at all you can find on google for it I've already tried. There's a thread on 911uk with a couple of guys that had the right version, posted and pm'd them.

Cheers Allan but that one's no use, I found that the other night and hoped he'd have 5 somewhere on that page but he doesn't
