fitted it all works and wired up though it looses memory anyone know which wire is the continous power supply? a pic would be especially helpful

yep what make h/u isit?
half way down the power lead there should be a split connector allowing you to chop and change wires over, what you need to do is put half the yellow wire onto the red cable and the red cable onto the yellow cable, whalla, no memory loss
