Love these, quick for what they are too, foot to floor and shoot off Run out of puff around 80mph tho.

I think RRS has more road presence, X5's still a nice comfy couch though!!

hit 110 before with no lettign off on the way home no running out of puff noticed. Also much more eager off the mark compared to the other 35d I tried. I think it may be mapped.

Its generally more car like compared to the RRS.

I just felt that if you're cruising at 80 and put your foot down there was a lot less pull to it. Didn't mean it wouldn't do higher speed or anything. I loved the one I was borrowing for traffic light grand prix

It must be carbon black then. My mates old 5 series was that colour and up close it was a bluey/purpley colour depending on how the light hit it.

had it a while now, and washed it

really is a much nicer car to drive when compared to Range Rpver Sport.

MPG - not as good as thought, but still a bit better than RRS 2.7 with 100bhp less

About 500miles to 80l tank, 30mpg average

havent read the manual yet... but anyone know how the addaptive cruise control works? I know what it does, but cant find a way to make it work

DVD - it has a dvd player that i didnt know about, plus a dash mounted CD + changer in the glovebox Assume it plays DVDs on the built on monitor or something :S

Stereo is fucking great compared to the LR Harmon Kardon too (media pack with 'loud speaker')

will go google search what all the shit is

DVD player in the dash? When dad had a 5 series courtesy car we thought that but it just runs the satnav and ddidn't want to play any films. May well be full on DVD.
