Personally wouldn't live in Mk but on outer villages are nice. Newport is ok. I live near Northampton which is a easy comute. Depends on budget. If you have a shit load, look at Olney, Weston underwood, stoke goldington, Horton, emberton, Woburn. If not so much Woburn sands, Newport pagnell, cranfield.

One of my best mates lives in bletchley and she never complains about the area, been there loads and it looks alright

New bradwell is a bit dodgey at the top end near the A5 though where she used to live

Rest of MK I can't comment but yeah looking at surrounding villages is probs a good idea
