I enjoy the football based banter of Russ/Nath/JonnyJ/MWG on twitter TBH
Not surprised Steve doesn't understand that side of it

Most of the people I follow are also football related. Good way to mix with them.

Basically any interest you have Twitter provides news on it in real time.
What Steve and Jim haven't grasped yet is they could find out what new mods there are for drones or what new type of super strength weed there is kicking about.
If they had they would have been all over it.

I like twitter. I mainly follow celebs, sportsmen/women, fellow Gooners, and mwg.
I also follow Jodie Marsh because for some reason i'd still like a night with her so she could abuse me.

Like you and most people do on here?

Not that they sold shit twice the price it costs on Amazon/Tesco or anything
She's claiming that her input alone would have prevented file sharing and modern music compression from overtaking traditional record sales?
Even if HMV had have moved in to digital sales, they'd still have been closing stores and still have been competing with bigger businesses in that sector who have been doing it for years.
Any retailer who is using an outdated paradigm has its days numbered and no amount of boardroom complaint is going to change that. If she was so wise to the fate of the company she'd have done better going working for Amazon/Apple or similar who were successfully operating in that market.
I do feel sorry for people losing their jobs but I also don't see that companies are going to a) be around forever or b) follow anything other than the legal avenue for administration. What are they objecting to exactly? That technology changes the world?
Someone on my FB tried to blame it on the Tory government. They got a similar reply.

Thank you Ian.
Business is business. if she had much of a clue, she would have fled that sinking ship years ago. I know because I used to be a manager at MVC and left when it was abundently clear that Amazon and the likes of Tesco etc where tearing the arsehole out of the business. That was in 2004.
THey have done well to last this long. Being sentimental I am sad that this style of shop will no longer be around, but tbh as frustrating as that is. Nothing worse than going into one of the shops and finding that they havent got what you wnt, staff dont want to order it and it costs twice as much.
Its a no brainer that retail is dying, especially this area.
LOL @ Tory government being responsible for the changing retail habits amongst shoppers in the last 10years alongside the widespread advent of online shopping.
