See the bit I don't get is if churches/mosques/synagogues etc don't have to perform homosexual marriages (and presumably won't on religious grounds), then surely that leaves them State appointed registrars. So in other words civil weddings (i.e. civil partnerships).
So just what has this endeavour achieved?
