Can anyone tell me what size the bolts are i need for this mount?

Can normal bolts from a diy shop be used or are they a special type of bolt?

normal bolts, i would use cap heads (12.9 rating iirc) as they are stronger then normal bolts (8.8 rating)

Would i need to use loctite aswell? and any idea what length ithey should be?

loctite wont hurt as long as you can get it out again if needed

measure how deep the thread go into the block and add the thickness of you mount length, get the bolts just shorter that the length you measured so it doesnt bottom out

i usually go by 1.5 times the diameter is the minimum length i have threaded in

The engine is originally from a mk2 astra gte champion so would the original mount for that engine and car be bolted in the same place where the corsa mount goes?

Just wondering because i could ask autovaux if they still sell the original bolts.

Anyone know what thread pitch is for the engine mount bolts 1.25 or 1.5?

Measured the depth of the hole which is 21mm and the thickness of the mount is 3mm.

m10 x 1.5 is the standard m10 bolt. M10 x 1.25 is metric fine.

Im unsure what they are, but if its just m10, it will be the 1.5.

You want 21mm + 3mm mount + washer (1/2mm). You will get 20mm or 25mm lengths as standard from most places.
