seat belt tensioners are covered by this handy light arn't they? have you got the standard wheel, cos on aftermarket ones where some connectors need to be bridged the bridge may have come loose?

Arn't the pre-tensioners mechanical jobbies ? IE. No electrical trigger?
Reckon ure gonna have to take it to a dealer to get the codes read, 'cos I don't think you can flash 'em out.
Maybe fuse has gone?

Could be the contact ring at the back of the steering wheel. It's a common fault - about £60 to replace including labour from a Vaux dealer.

when i got my car the airbag light was on. previous owner said "oh its been on for 12 months i thought it was seat belt light" i took it straight to my mate at vauxhall and he reset it on tech 2, said there was no fault and its never come back on since. remember while ever the light is on the airbag wont go off in an accident
