alright guys, im trying to do my front coilovers but i need the top mounts off my standard suspension, i cant seperate the boltson top has anyone got any tips?? or shall i just spend the £40 and get 2 new ones?? please all help would be great!

on the top mounts with the 2 bolts that go into the suspension turrets, i need to seperate them so i can put the mounts on my coilovers. donn3r, link to race mounts please?

As aiden said you need to use a impact gun otherwise the shocks spin! If you havent got one go to a garage and they should be able to wizz them off! Saves alot of money!

thanks buddy!! ive filled the mounts with vinegar and gunna leave them over night and see if that loosens them up if not ill go to the garage there is one half a mile away from me!! thanks!!

right i got the mounts off this morning now my front wheel rubs on my adjuster of the coilover!! do i need to run spacers or something??

i had to run spacers on mine as the coilover rubs on my tyre

I put the jamex ones on mine last week and lowered it down to the bottom and its grinded away the inside of my alloy and tyre! Took them straight off

ouch not good mate!! well ive fitted my fronts with 3mm spacers and the c;earnace is okay now, ive just found out the ive put the coilovers on wrong though so its gunna have to be re done tomorrow!!, also found the rubber absorber things are 2 different heights??

5mm spacers will be fine 10 quid or so

yeah i got 3mm spacers for £9 and now its all sweet thanks
