So just recently my headunit had started playing up, intermittently flickering on/off. To start with I guessed it could be wiring, checked over, checked pins in connections, all fine. Was sitting on the drive tuning the audio when I tapped the key with my knee and the headunit switched off, jiggled the key some more and it came back on so It's narrowed it down to that causing it. Unsure as to what it could be exactly and how to solve it? Anyone else had any issues like this? I've never heard of it happening before. Strange thing is that I've not touched anything anywhere near the steering column area for ages.

Sounds like the switch is fucked, Its probably the peice that does the secondary items (first key position), I forget what else that position does on a corsa.
They are about £30 iirc, try and do some more investigation before spending that imo
