I get it. Normally a compression top helps but not always. I've found the best thing is a cycling mesh base layer

My nips were fucked after the marathon last year. I used vaseline but as it was raining it just dribbled away

I'd probs use gaffer tape over them if I was doing a marathon. Worry about getting it off after!

That'd definitely be the least of your concerns too

My biggest concern was making it back to my Dad's car. I was a fucking cripple

I would/could never train for or manage a marathon unless I walked it.

I'm just not made for running and don't enjoy it so have no motivation to do it!

I do a bit of running. Like to to 'keep in' as it were incase I suddenly decide to do a triathlon or something

Same as you thought Ben, not a runner at all really but thats what would make the challenge of completing a marathon even more appealing. Well, to me it does anyway.

I used some Assos chamois cream on my nips when I did a half marathon. Had nothing else kicking about in the morning of the run so thought 'fuck it, better then nowt' slapped it on and it did the trick.

I had to laugh at my mate who had nice blood stains on his shirt near the end...

I'm exactly some but for some reason im doing half marathon in sheff in 2 week. God knows how/why people choose to do full marathons, they must be proper sadistic! Anything over 3 miles is too far in my book.
