Looking to book some parking at Stanstead Airport. Has anybody got any tried and tested places? I have been told about Pink Elephant at the Hilton so far. I'm never keen on the meet and greet stuff.

We just stayed in their official stanstead one. Booked it online, its almost like a pay and display and then you get the shuttle bus to the airport. You park your own car in the designated area you're assigned to.

used their own valet service, always do, saves time and a trip on a bus
ring them when you get off the plane and they have the car waiting for you

its safer aswell as they check the car on drop off and collection

I used the Stansted one when I went to Slovakia for a short break.

Rock up to the barriers, checks your numberplate, lets you in, then tells you which zone to park in. Park up, keys with you, shuttle bus to the terminal. Simples.

I used some dirt cheap parking at Luton once, was going away for a weekend. Took my sisters car as I've paid for more for a beer before (the ka). When I picked it up it had about 50 more miles on the clock and less fuel to show for it.

From now on I only ever park in ones you keep you keys, normally the medium term airport own ones
