yes mate, just putting it into nice lines so jamie can understand it. i'm also not keen on massive paul j style essays, which is why i do it a lot on forums. makes things a lot easier to read.

I feel your pain, my 1st MK4 Golf i smashed the sump in my own street twice in a week.
I live in a Culdesac and usually i park in the drive, but my mum was home first so i went down to the bottom to turn and come back up and a crater had appeared since the last time i had been down that end, by the time i noticed it was too late.
Second time was around 4 days later, a pothole at the top end of my street, has been filled maybe 5/6 times but keeps sinking, never any trouble.
My next door neighbour wasnt in so i went into the street on the opposite side from normal to get an easier swing at my drive and the way i hit the sunk/repaired hole i burst my less than a week old sump.
Sump was ordered and the car was raised.
