I have a Ford mondeo 2001 and the Cd player has a cd changer port i believe its a CD6000 is tehre a way a lead can go in the socket instead and make it an aux socket?

My sister had one of these in her KA and I never found a solution. In the end I bought a 99p eBay FM modulator for it as it wasn't well used.

I have a lead with like 16 pins looks like a cd changer lead with an aux on the other end will it work?

It depends which version of the CD6000 you have.

I suspect as it's a 2001 car you have the older 6000CD in the first photo with the CD Changer compatible logo.
In that case you need the box that emulates the CD changer and converts to an aux input.

Bear in mind for the sake of it you can spend a fit extra and just get a double din radio with MP3 capability and and aux in.
