I'm assuming because in 2 years it'll be a 10 year old car with a sound underneath, and in 4 years a 12 year old car with a sound underneath etc...

But spec'd up as a UK car so it won't be like a normal import that's made to be used in Japan surely. Will still have been treated underneath for UK roads.
