hi chaps

ive recently changed the spark plugs, after the car had cut out a week before, so covered that issue thinking it was plugs.

sadly not, it has just happened to me again, i noticed the temp gauge shot up, and i could hear a vacuum
noise or something from the dash. managed to start it 5/10 mins later.

Any idea on what it could be ?

Maybe air flow meter or crank shaft sensor? Hard to know really. What engine is it? Could try a paperclip test.

opcom is your freind!

probs a issue like a crankshaft sensor. maf sensor being faulty doesn't really prevent it from stating up, just runs lumpy when it does in my experience.

bad earth cable ? there is a separate earth cable which give earth to the injectors and spark plugs (look and relocate all brown cables) what engine is it ??

x12xe 1.2 16v ive noticed temp guage dosent seem to move straight away now.. and seems to go up if waiting in traffic.

would those dyno cables be suitable or does it have to be opcom?
