I fitted some to my rear shocks some months ago, got a pack of 110 from eBay for about a fiver and they were hopeless. The ball-bearing valve thingy seemed to let grease back out even under light pressure and I snapped about 10 of them whilst disconnecting the grease gun.

My nips are slowly weeping so I want to get them out and put some decent ones back in which I'm not scared of snapping and hopefully ones which won't leak.

The thread needs to be M10 x 1.5 but the threaded part of the nipple needs to be as short as possible so it doesn't foul the innards of the shock absorber. My current ones were about 1/4 inch but if possible even shorter than that!

Any places which will do decent ones? Non of the local hardware shops seem to stock them, google just takes me to US sites or eBay again.

Would it not be worth looking into some of the more expensive ones on ebay as a last resort?
