Hi all,
Got caught speeding a couple of months back now (37 in a 30) and opted for the £85 fine and speed awareness course. Sent the forms back saying that I was choosing the course and ive still heard nothing back. A friend did the exact same at the same time and he was contacted within a week. Can these things take a while usually or have I been forgotten about? L

I did the same all came back pretty quick tbh I wouldn't worry about it you've done your bit

I wouldn't worry. They will send you a warning if they haven't received it.

Have they taken the money for the fine yet?

I'd chase it. A lad that I used to work had same thing. As far as DVLA were concerned was that he never took the points or did the course sothey have revoked his license pending an investigation and he's having to go to court to get sorted out.
