top bloke! lived local to me and used to see him in the pub.
first time I meet him we chatted for ages even got each other a drink and I didn't recognise who he was till after and I saw him on tv!

I could understand if he died near christmas but not the middle of summer it will be old news in a couple of weeks for the general person..
