How can I get my speedo to work, the clocks in the corsa are electronic but I believe the gearbox to be cable, does this make sence? If so how can I get this to work as mot soon and will fail if this doesn't work.
Thanks in advance.

You need a transducer and plug, or swap your dials to cable type.

Take the electronic sender on your digital car and remove the cable part on the top of gearbox then plug the digital sender in, it really is that simple

I know this probably isn't much help, but I had the same problem when I had my C20XE and F20 gearbox fitted in my old corsa. Chris at Regal sorted it out for me though- although I can't remember what he did as it was in 2003 off the top of my head.

when i did my conversion recently to my 1.0 shell i just put the sender from the 1.0 gearbox into my f20 and it worked straight off, my f20 came from a 1992 cavalier gsi with a cable sender.

^^ I don't know how that worked
The 1.0 would have had a magnetic transducer but the f16/f18/f20 have teeth on the diff and the transducer is mechanical
