Hello all, I'm building a team giant trials bike, I have a genuine ltd edition Martin Ashton frame and forks but I'm looking for some help on what parts to get which are from the same era of the bike. It's a 1997 frame.
So far I have decided on the following spec:
-magura hs33 raceline brakes
-mavic d521 cd rims and lx/xt hubs
-xt rear mech with a short cage
As above I need some help on the rear of the bits, seat post may be an arse due to the size
What pedals? Dmr v12's!
What crank and bottom bracket?
What stem and bars?
Any help will be much appreciated and ill update this with images and spec as it happens.
Thanks all

That is so retro cool
Used to ride trials and my mate had one of them back in the day.
Wheels and brakes are spot on for the era.
azonic double wall bars and stem
raceface cranks with a 22 tooth chain ring and bash guard.
Drives supercharged Tec with torque

Thanks for the input, missed a set of the brakes on eBay last night which was gay! Ill check out retro bike now thanks.
Getting excited about building it and falling off!
Half of me wants to go nuts and put front suspension on it! Set of maz bombers! But it may spoil the fact it's a trials bike!

I ran a set of Bombers on my Zaskar but they where to heavy for it really so swapped for something lighter.
Classic 90's shock though
Just build it how you want it, especially if your going to ride it

I have dmr v8's, one little slip and and sliced legs, great pedals for the money though.
