I know someone that owns one and yeah I've been out in one. They are scary!
They drink a lot of petrol and cost a fortune to maintain but I still love them!

I drove my uncles in Dearborn MI. If I remember the spec correctly its a a 5.7 V8 Tuned Port Injection. His was a 1989 model before they were forced to include a CAT ans is apparently the faster of the lot. Do you have any stats on it?

Yeah his is the same engine 5.7 V8 TPI, as for stats I think it's just the stock engine, don't know what the output etc. is though.

Is that all! Felt like much more, but I was only 16 when I drove it and would have been comparing it to my 1.2 Nova

A push bike is faster than a 1.2 Nova mate
If you think 230bhp from a V8 is bad, how about 150bhp from the Rover V8 lump as used in the Rover SD1, Triumph Stag, etc...
