The pain is bearable ATM it's just really stiff and only hurts when doing my exercises. I'd just like too know 1) did you feel was it work it 2) how long until you was walking unaided and 3) how bad was your swelling ? And did you feel like you could flex and extend more after it had gone down.

it hurt like hell when i did it and stupidly i didn't go to the doctors straight away.
Operation didn't so much hurt as ache really. Just ached a lot.
i was walking unaided within 2 weeks and back to work. albeit very very slowly.
i think i was back to playing sports within 8 months and i did the full rehab course.
glad i had it done though and my swelling was still there for at least 8 months.
Feel the odd tweak sometimes but thats expected as i completely ripped the muscle off the bone so now its held with a bloody big screw.

Ive had had ligament reconstruction 3 times due to a severe dislocation of my knee make sure you do all the physio you are offered otherwise whatever help the op has done will go out the window. Ive now got to have a full ligament transplant. Normally tge physios have you out of bed on your feet tge same day

yeah don't use crutches or anything like that just get used to the pain and you will recover much faster.
Mine has worked wonders as I'm now playing squash which is probably the hardest sport for knees.

I have taken a few baby steps today it just feels a little bit unstable. The one thing I am really finding hard is the flex as I have metal staples in my knee at the minute and I'm so scared off them coming out lol

A good week and a half, could tell with the bandage started to fall down my knee. It took me a month before i could walk on it, but that was with a limp.
