I've just bought a 2001 Polo 1.4 8v.
It has a misfire on idle which seems to get worse then it's hot. It revs fine and the misfire isn't bad at higher revs.
EML was on and original fault codes were Misfire on Cylinder 1, 2, 3 and 4.
So far i have replaced the Plugs, Leads and Coil Pack but the misfire is still there.
EML now repeats codes:
p0303 - cylinder 3 misfire
p0351 - Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit malfunction
p0352 - Ignition Coil B Primary/Secondary Circuit malfunction
Are these bad for the ECUs failing or does it seem likely to have burnt a valve out?
Just wanted a few opinions before i start trying to fix it.
Cheers
