What thickness wire do I need to wire the gauge to the sensor on the oil filter? Should I use some extra thick stuff to stop the engine melting it or feed thin stuff through some rubber tube? Any ideas

Personally I'd just try and make sure it didn't touch anything, cable tie it out the way and use any old wire

i used any old wire and have had no problems at all
