 Bloody hell. Frost has gone frosty. Didn't even know he was ill.
That said, he's been sounding bloody old and slurring for a while now, so he couldn't have been right.

Interviewed in May and was asked who may succeed him, said that to elect a successor was to step down and he planned to be around for some time to come.
Very sad but I always think working to the end and being taken quickly is one of the best ways to go. Particularly when you've had such an astounding career as him.

Stephen Fry said on twitter, he had spoken to him on Friday, and he was excited about moving house and other plans.
So safe to say it was sudden. They do say moving house is the most stressful thing you can do
