yup you can buy an adaptor, or just get an amplifier that has high level inputs.

Get yourself a line driver, it takes high level speaker inputs and converts it to a RCA preout. also it boosts the lineout voltage to a max of 8volts which will give you a much better sound. most car audio shops will sell them or be able to order one for you.
may cost a few $ dollar $ though...
You just as well go and get yourself a decent headunit with RCA ouputs
