Booking tickets for the mrs for Ellie goulding next year! Ive never been so is it better to get standing or seated around the outside? What previous experiences have you had? I dont want to be in a mosh pit of fans

well do you want to stand or sit...?

there's hardly going to be a moshpit at an Ellie Goulding concert but there will be a lot of pre-pubescent girls, one assumes.

There is plenty of space to hang around near the back on the floor if you want to avoid the above but the floor is pretty flat so helps if you're taller. As for sitting, people often get shouted at for standing up and dancing etc.

I'd sit personally at that concert. Also means it's only a quick 20 second walk out the area to go the bar!

Always got standing tickets, did the same for Jay Z last Friday. I stand quite far back near the sound techys and enjoy the view. Can hurt your feet after a while but thats the trade off.

As Robbo says, it's your choice. But i say standing is the better option as you can dance and get more involved, rather than it feeling like the band has just popped round for a quick sing song in your front room (what i experience last time i was there).
