3 months ago I had my ACL reconstructed and also had my cartalidge trimmed.
Physio has said my ACL is excellent and the graph seems to of taken.
My question is about my cartalidge though I have been told to start jogging but only very lightly and for a very short distance. My question is has any one had there's done? And have they suffered from any pain ? As after a few feet mine really Starts to hurt and it feels like a nerv is traped and taking the impact.
Any help be appreciated thanks Samson

To be expected when you first start training again however if the trimming was significant it is likely you will always have some form of discomfort after running for any duration on hard surfaces.

I had mine done in May alond with some other bits.
I've had to pack football in because of the pain, its immediate as soon as I start to run. Consultant said I will have to limit the things I do, I don't expect to be able to play golf or football again.

Had the same op as yourself and after a year and a half i still feel some discomfort, its hurts some days and other appear okay. Decided to give football a miss in the end, as the pain is not worth it any more.
