The MRI picked up nothing but he mentioned pain in his back that was spotted on a CT scan. They still took him

Yeah I know it's only a loan. But why did they then carry on with the medical and state that he will get treatment with them? That's not exactly shrewd business. Especially when it's a player who is most certainly past his best.

obviously got potential or he wouldnt have been at arsenal so long, lets see what his attitude is going to be like as it'll be a massive culture shock!
looked every bit as good as Wilshere... at the Emirates Cup 2010 (or 11, cant rememebr which). Obvs a diff type of midfielder, but also played against Liverpool (0-2 at home, firts few games of seasona few years back) and had a cracking game (before gettign sent off...). 2 ACLs have ruined his development tbf, and hes not performed on loan to Fulham back end of last season or really in our ressies to warrant a recall but the potential is there. Too hot headed though, as you found out inside 35 mins Hes much better out of London but id put money on him leavign and signign with a London club in the Summer (confusion over whether he got a 6 or 18 month deal). Appalling attitude to the career IMO, too worried about stardom and other ventures. Fair to say hes probs the best well known yet poorest quality footballer in the UK

so so weird. i get that *maybe* he *might* *possibly* contribute *something* in one game... but so may Frimpong, or Zelalem, or Eisfeld, or Olsson... so why bother?! If he was so desperate, fling £20m+ in BVBs dorection and walk away with Gundogan... he aint fit either but when he was, he'd slot into the team superbly and a great long term fix too. Bizarre but also hardly the guys fault!

Jonny 'Joniesta' Williams has gone on loan to Ipswich, got themselves an absolutely cracking player. The game time will do him good to take the PL by storm next season
