Stolen recovered will normally show on hpi and so affects value of car.

Yes, don't think Cat D is the same as stolen and recovered, although they probably impact the value about the same.

my vectra gsi got stolen from west yorkshire was found in london with an extra 4k on the clock it had 2 new tyres fitted and new rear disks and pads. only thing wrong with it was the drivers seat had been slashed

yep couldnt believe it when i got the car back the tyres weren't cheap either michelin winter tyres were fitted was very strange. was like it was someones car for the 10 weeks it was missing
