Gotta change my track rod ends and my o/s outer cv gaiter.
got the parts but the haynes say I'll need a few new nuts etc, where to get em and what sizes are they if anyone knows off hand? Cheers

It will be fine, I've re-used them before without any problems.
If not Vauxhall will be able to supply the correct ones.

fuck knows where my nearest vaux is and doing the jobs tomo as I need to MOT the car by friday so I'll reuse the originals, cheers

is it true that some people cut cv gaiters carefully along the join and superglue it back together to avoid taking parts off? Lol. Going to do it proper myself. It sounds like a cowboy method

No they don't cut them down and reseal them, you can buy universal CV gaiters that you cut to size and they have a seam down the side that you glue together once fitted.
They are a quick fix to avoid removing the shaft but in all honesty they are more hassle than they are worth and putting one on a front cv thats turning with the wheel is at risk of splitting.
