I always thought it WAS the testosterone that caused anger Dan?

Btw, from what i've read in the past, castrated chaps have a greater life expectancy (silver lining, for what it's worth).

From what he has said, the lack of testosterone gives a massive mood swing. Having gone out for a meal with him a week ago, and seen him losing his temper over nothing I assume its right.

Its a bit of a pig to get started, as they don't know how much to give you to stablise it, so he was all over the place. Think itsw now finally getting there.

His case is very odd tbh. He had testicular cancer about 15 year ago, they removed one. Then this lump happened in the other. They removed it, did some test and found it was cancer, however his body had fought the cancer itself and turned it back to something safe. His specialist said he was only the 2nd case of this ever happening in the 30 years he had been doing it.

Hes right, having little to no test can give you bad mood swings.
Having too much test in your body really depends on the type of person.

My mate had a groin strain/bollock ache which was diagnosed as a varicocele and a hydrocele iirc.

needed an operation and nearly 2 months off work.

I've had orchitis which was very painful (one bollock the size of a tennis ball).

Was embarrassing going to doctors and hospital but had to be done.

on the plus side my junk was fondled by a young asian nurse. Winning at the same time as losing.

Mind you, it was also fondled by a fat asian doctor and a middle aged french man done an ultrasound on it. Awkward.

In extreme cases you get discolouration where the blood supply is affected, but you can also have pain if its not that severe.

Seen by both males and females, when you get in there it won't matter.

It's called a torsion isn't it Ian?

thats a twisted testicle. Usually they need to operate within 48 hours of the pain coming on or your bollock dies due to lack of blood.

When the doctor said thst might happen to me, I shit myself. Luckily mine was the less of the 2 evils.

Not single no. All I was getting at was a male doctor may be more familiar with bollock issues.

Cancer doesnt hurt, usually...so try relax BUT sometimes it does, doctors and nurses will swear blind that you never get pains from cancer but it's bullshit because you can sometimes.

I have terrible ball pains all the time because of varicose veins in my nuts. Really painful and harmless. Do you veins in your balls feel swollen and large?

Nope, but I do suffer from varicose veins in my left leg, though it's my right nut that aches.

Oh well. Id still get em checked out. Ive had to have my balls felt up twice. Once after an accident and once for the veins.

out of interest, how do you tell when you have them in your leg? Just curious is all. Cheers best of luck. Like others said, just let your doc do their job, dont bother with male/female. Just make sure your doctor knows his stuff. My doc is crap :

Coz you can see big thick veins bulging under my skin on the inside of my upper and lower left calf and in my left inner thigh too. It's a legacy of a job where I only get to sit down for about 20 minutes of every 8 hr shift for the last 15 years.

That might explain why I have some small ones.

I always thought it was hereditary.

I do a standing/walking about job for 8 hours a day and done have them.

My mum does though. Already had a few out years back and now needs to get some more taken out.

Hope I don't get them. They are awful looking things. Like bulbous green worms under the skin.

Varicose veins or a varicocele?

I have a varicocele, and its not painful at all, just looks fucking odd, it looks like id imagine a brain to look with all big squiggly tubes.

Doc said its nothing to worry about, but if it ever hurts or continue to enlarge it can be fixed.

I think id like it fixed, cause it worries the fuck out of me if I do get a little ache down there for a few mins. Start thinking wtf is all that lot etc.

Went to see the doctor tonight, he had a feel and gave me some co-codamol and told me to go back if symptoms continue after another 3 weeks.
