driving my corsa (c14se) last night and the engine light came on and did a paper clit test and it came up 19 Crank Angle Sensor (CAS) Incorrect RPM signal what could cause this? and what should i check? the car drivers runs and fine ?

Its off now all I can thick is I went though a massive puddle just before it came on
