Fergie was good at mind games because he used the tactic wisely and knew when it was appropriate. Jose does it every week so there no way any opposing manager should be buying into it and biting. Just pity him.

But didn't Jose react to Wenger's comments? Think on this circumstance he's just being brutally honest here.

If Mourinho is being honest and really thinks AW is a failure then he's an even bigger muppet than I thought.

Wenger has done many things for that club. But he has failed to win trophies for just shy of a decade now. So in that sense, you can class him as a failure.
He's actually starting to piss me off as a neutral, so fuck knows how you fans cope All they've needed for a couple of years was a digging midfielder, and a top class striker. The money spent on Ozil could have had both World class luxury to have though.

Everything Mourinho says is correct, sure he could have been more tactful but this is why Arsenal have being losing their star players over the last few years. Ambitious, world class players go to a team because they want to succeed and win trophies. They don't care about books being balanced, new stadium etc. Wenger and some Arsenal fans are clearly misguided in how football teams and seasons work. If Arsenal were a regular company then Wenger should be at the top as he knows how business works, unfortunately he is the manager of a football club where people only care about winning trophies and being able to attract the big names.

But is he a failure? Is he fuck. As I said before, look beyond 2005.

People go on like AW has never won a trophy FFS.

I say anyone who thinks AW is a failure doesn't understand football and how it works.

I'd much rather wait for 1 trophy the Arsenal way than throw billions at it and win 10.

And, I'd rather be in Conf. South and have a squad of players who want to play for the club, than a squad of mercenaries.

Rant over

9 Years, is it not? FA Cup in 2005?
this season isnt over yet... hence 8.

reacted to comments that were regarding other teams, notably city and chelsea. also his comments were true, jose's were pathetic, childish and unprofessional. Wenger owned him right back yesterday though

we had tos ell the star players because w eneeded the money to pay for the stadium... we couldnt attract star players because we didnt have the money becuase we had to pay for the stadium... what are we sipposed to achieve when we dont have any money utd lost fergie and inside of 1 season you wont be able to achieve what webger has achieved on a relative shoestring for the last 8 years consecutively...

However, now we have £142m so that excuse is gone...
