I play RB. Played at county level till about 17 then only started again last season at 25. We came 2nd I the league first season so got promoted but this season we have had a lot of injuries. Me being one of them with dislocating my shoulder. Me should finish mid table.
I enjoy it most of the time but if I'm honest it's fairly violent. I'm not one to back out of a challenge but the odd elbow to the face does annoy you after a while. Just need to give as good as you get!

used to play. but gave up because I got pissed off with managers picking their mates over the better players
played right back for 7 pre season friendlies getting MoM each game then got dropped for his mate who was a midfielder and hadnt turned up to any training or friendlies.
play with work now on the odd occasion as a right midfielder usually start every game as I have the most assists

I had this issue at the start of the season as the managers brother is also a right back. He is utter dog shit but was still getting picked before me. It got so bad that the other lads started to complain and be finally got the message! We also have people who never train but are picked consistently

im 30 but my philosophy is I'm going to play while I have a choice and I'll retire when I can no longer physically play.

Played cam in junior football with an spl team (but discovered drinking and females ) and a bit with work/mates
Most of my goals came from 25+ yards Keepers were shite.
