Like I said, we both used to be like that when we didn't have any money. But not any more, our money basically goes in to one pot that pays for everything nowadays.

If you are both earning I think it's silly and just a pain in the arse to be faffing over £12.

Tbh at the start of the relationship we did things similar to that and partly was me being strict so she didn't think she could become a gold digger. As time goes on and things got serious now it's just like whatever. We'll still take stuff in turns every now and again but mostly it's just me but that's just part of me earning more and partly that you're just in a relationship and you just can't be pedantic like that your life as it only stresses you out

messing about over 12 quid is definitely tight! You'll never manage it to that extent without falling out or getting wound up about it.
