little help with fuel rail fittings please...
i posted something about this up ages ago but cant seem to find the post
basically my new build corsa V6 has got the fuel tank down the front behind the bumper and im currently on spending a small fortune on fuel line bits that dont fucking fit
my main issue iv having is finding one like the above that'll fit the fuel rail... standard c25xe fuel rail (same size thread ends as x16xe and 90% of other vauxhalls from that era....
the smaller one of the two on the fuel rail is a -AN6 and iv got that sorted, and after much confusion and money wasted all the rest of the systems about sorted but i cant find out what size i need for the bigger fuel rail connector... iv got what i think (what demon motorsport have told me) is an -AN8 and its too big, this must mean theres a size in between surley....
anyone care to shed any light on this for me?? -AN7??
maybe even a link if possible...
ideally needs to be 90degree bend for a 8mm I.D fuel line

they dont do a an-7 , have a google and find out what the thread is on the fuel rail and you might need a adaptor to take it to a an- fitting

here we can see what iv got, smallest being AN6, middle one being the size i need for the rail and the biggest being AN8 according to demon motorsport... im not sure if they've sent me AN10 by mistake
and i didnt think there was an AN7

your best bet will be to remove the fitting from the fuel rail take it into your local pirtek and get a different adaptor. think the thread is m10 x 1.5 or 1.25 pitch.

the AN6 fits the small one fine, cant see why they would do a different thread type for the bigger one?
iv ordered another AN8 from torques just to confirm that its not AN8, probs more money wasted tbh but i think the big one shown looks more like AN10

i can definitely confirm that the bigger one of the two rail fittings isnt AN8 as iv got another one from torques here... it must be specialist fitment
on the plus side iv found an original 90 degree bend with the correct fitment in my big box of junk so thats sorted
now im on with finding out what thread type my tank has, one sides sorted but the other I THINKs 1/4 BSP adapter to AN6 so i can put an AN6 90 degree bend in
must of spent a small fortune now and im no further forward
fuel tanks looking well though

i estimated it to be around 8.5litres before i had that front corner chopped and welded to allow space, should get 2 runs easy... just keep checking it
its surprising how little fuel the last V6 used and i only ever ran that on 1/4 of a tank at most, used to get a lot of runs to that
should be fine
and all my prayers are answered with the fittings haha, 1/4 bsp to an6 adapter and im onto a winner now, will get it all piped up tomorrow
