Best thing that could happen to Barca tbh.
Valdes hater
The alternative is a pensioner that's played a dozen games in 6 or 7 years
Leaving anyway so definitely played his last game!
Will be interesting to see who they go for, lots of Spanish pundits saying they're likely to buy two keepers as Pinto is 38.
Spanish title race is epic, even more so than the PL's probably. I like the head-to-head rule over goal difference, adds another edge to it.
I know he's leaving but regardless Barca now have a treble to go for with a 38 year old backup keeper...
Pepe Reina is a shoe-in to return which is why he only went on loan to Napoli IMO. Fits the bill of former player that went elsewhere and got better then returned a la Pique, Fabregas etc etc...
Don't know who they have in reserve just now but based on their recent past you'd imagine they'd want a La Masia graduate to back him up. All the noises coming from Barca are they want Bartra to step up and fill Puyol's shoes which means they'll probably only sign 1 centre half if nay at all despite having needed one for the best part of 4 years.

I'm assuming everyone saw the Bayern pass map from last night? United could well break another record in that match...
Didn't see this. Yeah I saw it. Just shy of one thousand passes completed at a rate of 93% That is fucking insane.
What Guardiola has done with Lahm is incredible, from marauding full back on either side to Xaviesque holding centre mid in the space of months.

Yep. The fact he made 134 passes at 100% completion is almost unheard of.
Even more absurd, that their weakest link is their goalkeeper. Not in terms of ability because he's easily the best in the world, but that they have become so ruthlessly efficient that he feels the need to come wandering out now

Without quoting that massive bible that oRbbo wrote, does anyone think that Podolski isnt quick? Granted I've not seen much of him recently but he used to be fairly rapid.

Some more details behind that rumour I posted earlier

Sounds very far fetched

That was from their match v Hertha Berlin apparently - PP and Betfair both posted the above one, there's a few floating around on google image search from other matches that are equally impressive though!

Goes to prove how much of an influence Guardiola is.
Many thought LaMasia was the reason Barca passed teams to submission which is clearly not the full story.
