In what could be one of the most tedious threads in some time....

To those of you who don't use your phone as an alarm, what have you got?

My old clock packed up and want something decent.

Currently thinking one of these - http://www.notonthehighstreet.com/gingko/product/led-cube-teak-wooden-alarm-clock - but remain to be convinced....

I think they look cool so long as it matches the rest of your furniture.

I have a sony LCD clock but I use a Sonos for my alarm. Brilliant bit of kit and means I don't have to listen to Nick Grimshaw in the mornings! I listen to a US radio station now.

Use your phone. Don't understand why you'd use something else?

If i wake up in the middle of the night wanting to know the time i hate the way the phone lights up the room.

That combined with often leaving it in the living room, or it running out of battery.

Prefer a clock which can just live in one place.

Greater percentage of it actually working compared to mobile phones , that and as Andy mentions, not everyone takes their phone to bed with them
