Hi, currently having troubles, decide to cut the unused cables of loom. however decide to try to take of the immobiliser ... i believe , that this chip (inside the key) is actually working like magnet or something so the ring bit makes contact and car starts .. so it means if i connect some of the cables (dont know which) car will work without chip .. however , if i use a loom of older corsa, without immobiliser , car will still work ? Really need help bout it .. as in haynes manual cant find anything about immboliser and anti theft unit ..

Immobiliser is part of the ECU too, it's not as simple as looping a wire round, that would defeat the objective of the immobiliser.

yes m8. i did check cables first lol i know its a blue/red goin in engine bay, blue/red going under x82/10 pin in ECU .. but there is impossible to cant bypass that .. i mean i dont need it , its just pain in the *ss ..if someone decide to steal my car, he can without that anyway ..:-/
i just dont wanna loose my heated mirros/ electric windows etc .. otherwise would take whole loom out , cut it all, leave cables for starting, lights etc , and fan ...
