Corsa gls red.
Engine is an x14xe block bored out to fit 1.8 bottom end. Fully rebuilt with new big ends, main baring, piston rings, crank seal, new 1.8 oil pump costing £120.
Head is X16xe ported and gas flowed, new stem seals.
Thicker cometic head gasket costing £125 and new timing belt and water pump
Not sure how to price it so lets say £600. Its probably cost me close to £1000
Lexmaul inlet £200
4-2-1 exhaust mani, heat wrapped. £100
Highlift cams, not sure on make but always had good gains using them £150
Magnicore leads £50
3x roose motorsport hoses in black cost me £120 Want £60
Re-located intake with k&n filter £30
Gear box is f15 with 1.7 diesel f17 internals, the final drive is the wide ratio 3.55 instead of 3.74.
It does 3250 rpm at 70. £80
Z18xe flywheel, heavier flywheel makes it better on fuel. And have a panther fast road clutch and brand new genuine vauxhall release baring. £60
Short shift rose jointed gear selector £100
Think thats about it, It is running on standard x16xe management has been running fine until recently. Its come up with a throttle body fault and cant seem to figure it out. What it realy wants is some proper management, Im wanting a proper car now instead of toys now so rather sell up then spend even more money on this.
The only snag to the 1.8 internals is the oil pick up, I have had to crimp the pipe as its tight next to the sump.
Have hade the car nearly 2 years and about 14 month running with this engine and over 10000 miles. Drives unlike any other corsa out there, with so much torque.
Im wanting to sell the engine first as im still using the car.
Make me an offer if you want the whole car, loads of spec on the shell;

Front and rear bumper and arch trims painted same color as wheels.
Has a big spoiler, not to everyone's taste. With the bootlid has the wiper smoothed off.

All the underside of the car has been stripped, with all rust sanded back to bare metal. Then painted with hammerite black then wax oiled
Front armes have powerlfex bushes.

Shell Has 64k miles, 3 months tax Lots of test.
