Oh the joys of motoring.....

Picture the scene.... M4, 6pm... missed 2 junctions due to some enthusastic driving.
Decided to slow it down a bit. So... at about 100mph, i decided to put my boot down again. Stutter stutter... no power... look at fuel gauge, its fine.... look in rear veiw mirror.... red arrows style plume of smoke... shit pants.... pull over.
After a brisk walk to the phone booth thingy...




So... get home... and decide to see if it will start to revese it up my drive. It does.... just smokes like a bob marley lookalike.

Anyway... got her over the pit today... and took some pics of the damage.











Just as i was about to take one final pic... warm oil dripped INTO my left eye.... which now stings like a mutherfucker.

Ho hum..... never mind eh?

The car still starts and drives.... just a shed load of smoke to go with it.
Engine sounds fine when it is running, and i was able to drive it up my drive into the garage... so i doubt any piston damage... had forged ones in there... so they may have saved me.

Trying to remove the turbo unit at the moment, its a cunt of a job...
Pretty sure its just the turbo... but will get the rest checked out.
