My c20let camshaft seats are badly scored due to an oiling problem. Does not effect running just sounds like a diesel lol. As head is a big valve ported and polished one I want to try and save it due to cost of replacing with same spec. Has any one had seats bored out and fitted with shells or can suggest a method of repair

i had a similar problem many years ago, didn't find a fix other than a different cylinder head.
