I'm referring to that generation Megane in general The wheel base is almost square, its like a bloody go-kart The R26/R26R and even 225 are great cars to drive..

Nope, the difference between the 225 & R26 make the car a completly different car. The .r was a special edition which really only shed some weight the drivetrain was the same as the r26.

They suit absolutely no single car. It's just some internet thing that has become common, and now people for some reason think they're "needed".
