I'm having real difficulty finding decent examples with A/C and a tail-gate for around the £10k mark.. Might have to Err back towards the Vito, you get SOOOO much more for your money.

Has a point. Shocking how many Sprinters etc you see that are only 1-2yrs old and they are rusting.

had to quote this abut the 1-2yr old thing how about brand new unregistered sprinters with rust inside the rear doors

they did have plastic front wings for a while aswell I work converting vans into refrigerated vans for a living so get to drive and see every van on the market and 75% are sprinters or vitos. personally I would have to have a t5 over a vito.

They dropped the plastic wings on the 2010 facelift.

Well I've got to say 'trying' to buy a T5 is one of the most frustrating purchasing experiences of my life!

I'm not able to claim the VAT back so traders are a no-go which means I'm stuck dealing with private sellers and Jesus fucking Christ these are a special breed!

Either they seriously believe its some sort of Ferrari they are selling even if its a poverty spec van with windy windows full of dents.. Or they seems to not even want to sell the thing, one bloke I rang last night after a few beers I told him I'm coming over now with the cash and he said "Oh sorry it can't go until Tuesday"..

THEN WHY THE FUCK IS IT ADVERTISED YOU COCK MUNCHER!

I find with things like camping. You go the first few times and just make do with what you have which makes it the adventure. Then the more gadgets and accessories you buy the less fun the camping gets. You get to a point where you're looking for an excuse to go camping just to use all the tat you have bought. So end up sat in a field with a shitter version of all the stuff you have in your house.

For us it's being able to go camping with no agro, we're not interested in fucking around in a campsite we want to explore so being able to rock up to the site, pop the roof, roll out the awning abs have dinner is a win.

Then in the morning roof down, bed up, awning in and hit the road..

We can also wild camp if needed, just park up and sleep!
